ABOUT SCIENCE-IN-THE-BOX

Scienceinthebox.com, Science-in-the-box Scienceinthebox.com represents P&G’s commitment to engaging with consumers and stakeholders to develop efficient, safe and sustainable products, while promoting consumer best practices for washing and household cleaning. P&G puts sustainable innovation into every box and bottle of its products. But this research does not take place in isolated laboratories; rather, they are the result of engagement and dialogue with all stakeholders, consumers and society at large. This is the philosophy of Science-in-the-box: sharing the science behind our products, promoting sustainability and listening and engaging with consumers and stakeholders. "Scienceinthebox.com" was launched in 2001 to share the science that goes “in the box” of detergents and specifically how the science of cleaning can be important, interesting and fun. This has included the science behind consumer research, technological development and production of packaging, improving manufacturing, maintaining safety, sustainability, risk assessments, as well as integrating comments and advice from opinion leaders, teachers and consumers. Over the years, as concerns and research evolved, Science-in-the-box has been there to provide information and support, transparently, reliably and accessibly. Scienceinthebox.com is intended for various audiences that may differ in terms of interest, career and education. It offers information to this wide range of consumers and stakeholders in multiple languages.
