The following taxonomic experts worked with P&G staff in developing identifications of algae that were collected. Many example specimens are curated in the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. The following individuals were responsible for collections and identifications: S. Belanger, D. Lee and M. Nienaber (P&G); F. Acker (Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania); special recognition goes to the laboratory of Dr. R.
