More than a thousand researchers in P&G (toxicologists, environmental scientists, engineers and other experts) are working to ensure that all elements surrounding its products, production, packaging and use are safe to consumers, human health, workers, animals and the environment. Safety is designed into all of P&G’s products but the science does not stop there. P&G is committed to developing innovations that not only continually meet consumers’ needs, but also further our drive to sustainability, lower our footprint and reduce the impact on the environment or human health.
P&G is working on achieving these goals internally and in cooperation with external labs, universities, governments, our industry partners and non-profit organizations to ensure optimum results. As safety extends to every stage of the product, from its formulation, production, packaging and distribution, use, disposal and recycling, P&G’s wide network of partnerships has proven to be invaluable.
P&G understands that many of its products can raise concerns and are of interest to wider populations. On the pages with topics of common interest, P&G’s positions, commitments and visions on certain topics are clearly stated.
