SUD STABILIZERS

Suds stabilizers are ingredients in detergents used to boost and stabilize suds and sudsing, keeping them from decomposing. The most widely used suds stabilizers are alkanolamides. (Ref: SDA Science) Use of suds stabilizers is limited to detergents in which stable, lasting, voluminous suds are desirable, primarily in high sudsing laundry formulations (for hand wash applications) and in light duty liquids designed for hand dishwashing.
